WARREN PICKERING | Owner, CEO, DAR-F/T
Warren has been the Owner and CEO of Pickering Aviation since the organization was established in 2016. Utilizing his unique knowledge from his extensive OEM and FAA experience and the relationships he has built, Warren continues to lead Pickering Aviation into an organization that provides effective solutions for all your aviation needs.
Warren’s 40+ year helicopter career began with the US Army in 1980, where he was an OH-58A mechanic and crew chief in Colorado and Germany. After his enlistment, he returned to Texas, where he obtained his A&P license. He spent his next 12 years in the Aeromedical Industry as a mechanic, Maintenance Director, and Heavy Maintenance Manager for various companies.
Warren was granted FAA Designee status for Maintenance (DAR-T) in 1984 and Manufacturing (DAR-F) in 1999. Spending over 25 years with Bell Helicopters, Warren quickly became an integral part of Bell’s compliance programs for their FAA Certifications and foreign Validations related to Bell’s Type Certificates, Production Certificate, and Certified Repair Station. Warren was also a key proponent of Bell’s Military and Restricted Category divisions including managing the production quality of the entire V-22 program.
When Warren is not in the office, he enjoys spending the weekends perfecting recipes in his pizza oven and traveling with his wife of over 30 years, Moni. He is also a proud grandfather of two!

DOMENIC PICKERING | Director of Operations
Domenic cofounded Pickering Aviation alongside his father, Warren, as the Quality Manager. Domenic developed Pickering Aviation’s FAA-PMA and UH-60 Restricted Category Type Certificate and was the main point of contact with the FAA.
Now, as Director of Operations, Domenic oversees all operations and is focused on enhancing Pickering Aviation’s current capabilities and expanding on them to better serve all current and future clients.
Domenic continues to be the main point of contact with the FAA and Foreign Civilian Aviation Authorities for all FAA projects and Type Certification Validations.
From 2013 to 2016, Domenic became Warren’s apprentice and assisted with numerous FAA and ODA-related projects ranging from Type Certificates (Standard and Restricted), Supplemental Type Certificates (New, Amendments, and AML), DAR Conformities (Airworthiness, Parts, and Install), Type Inspection Authorizations, and FAA-PMA.
During that time, Domenic attended and completed Airbus ODA Unit Member Annual Training and FAA’s Part 21 course at the FAA Oklahoma City Branch. Domenic also attended Tarrant County College, where he received his FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanics License.
Domenic enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing golf, and learning new technologies.

CHRISTINA HEDGES | Business Manager
Christina joined the team in 2020 as Pickering Aviation’s Business Manager. She has a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from the University of North Texas.
She has a background in managing weddings and events for high-end hotels. She spent seven years with Omni Hotels & Resorts in various positions, including roles with the Front Office and as a Catering Manager. She managed luxury weddings for Hotel Crescent Court in Uptown Dallas for two years until she decided to shift gears and join Pickering Aviation’s team.
Christina manages the behind-the-scenes at Pickering Aviation and supports all team members. She focuses on ways to continue to grow the business with Warren and Domenic and supports our growing client base.
She is happy to assist if you have any accounting or contract questions.
She is an avid traveler, party planner and enjoys spending time with her husband and two-year-old son.

SAM HERNANDEZ | Quality Manager
Sam joined Pickering Aviation in 2022 and has been an integral part of the team. He oversees Pickering Aviation’s Quality Department including TC, PMA, and our soon-to-be Repair Station.
He has 26 years of aviation experience in rotorcraft and fixed-wing maintenance, avionics, and alterations. Seventeen years of his aviation career have been as an FAA Part 145 Certified Repair Station Repairman. He has overseen the planning and successful execution of several off-site working groups in Malaysia, Norway, Mexico, and Rwanda.
He is a proud USMC Veteran and has worked as an Aircraft Electrician on F/A-18 A & C models while assigned to VMFA-251. When stationed at MCAS Beaufort, South Carolina, he participated in Operation Enduring Freedom.
Throughout his career, he has worked with several Federal Government Agencies, State and Local Law Enforcement Agencies, and many Air Medical Transport Agencies.
Sam has been happily married for 20 Years and has two children. He enjoys visiting his parents’ ranch whenever possible and spending time with family and friends.

TYLER PING | UH-60 Project Lead
Tyler joined Pickering Aviation with 15 years of experience with Civil and Military aircraft. As our UH-60 Project Lead, he oversees and conducts all UH-60 maintenance, conducts UH-60 pre-buys and inspections, and provides our clients with Technical Support.
He is a proud U.S. Army Veteran with two combat deployments to Afghanistan. He was a crew chief with over 1300 flight hours in UH-60A/L/M and HH-60M. He has extensive experience with H-60 Phase and Sustainment Maintenance and in operational, flight-line, repair stations, depot environments, and aircraft manufacturing.
Tyler is a proven leader who focuses on mission success. He has served in leadership roles, ranging from small groups to up to 165 individuals. He has been hand-selected for many critical roles in his military and civil career based on experience and professional excellence.
He is happily married and is a proud father of two (soon-to-be three!). Tyler enjoys flight simulation and spending time at his family's homestead.
